Couch POTATO
Actress Kerry Howard picks her dream viewing…
I’ve been watching
Deadwater Fell
on Channel 4
– that’s really gripping. I love the anachronistic timeline with the flashbacks, it’s really compelling. It reminds me a bit of Broadchurch, but maybe that’s because it stars David Tennant! It’s also like a dark version of
Maggie Cole, being about village life and everyone living in each other’s pockets. I can relate to that.
Schitt’s Creek on Netflix is
so good
– I’m obsessed with Catherine O’hara, I think she’s a genius. I love the way she talks in that clipped accent! I can’t wait for the final series to come out in the UK – I think it’s on Netflix US at the moment, and it’s killing me because I can see it on Instagram and I’m like, “I want to watch the show!”
I just watched the movie
Bombshell,
with Margot
Robbie, Nicole Kidman and Charlize Theron – impeccable. It’s about Fox News and its own #Metoo movement. It’s a true story, and it’s brilliant.
I’ve never had sisters, so I watch
Keeping Up With The Kardashians
and think, ‘Is that what having a sister is? I’m glad I don’t have any’ – because they hate each other! It’s like watching
King Lear. Kim Kardashian is King Lear – you can quote me on that!
I absolutely loved The Fast Show as a teenager.
My brother Russell would make me and my twin Daniel film sketches from it, and he would direct us – hours of fun! We’ve literally got home videos where Russell’s shouting, “You’re just doing it wrong, Kerry!”
