THE THOMAS BROTHERS HAVE A NEW TV SHOW…
If the current lockdown situation has you longing for the days when we can once again board a flight and travel to far-off places, then fear not – the Thomas brothers are here to take you on an Indian adventure! Former Corrie star
Ryan (Jason Grimshaw) is joined by his younger brothers Adam (Emmerdale’s
Adam Barton) and Scott – who took part in the second series of Love Island – for their new ITV show Absolutely India:
Mancs In Mumbai, which sees them travel to their grandfather’s birth place in search of their family heritage…
“I think the series is very relatable,” shares Ryan. “It shows a family heading to this beautiful, chaotic and vibrant place to find out about their family tree. We thought this was a trip of a lifetime, to have the chance to take our father back to his father’s birthplace was quite an experience, and we had a mixed bag of emotions throughout the whole trip. It was exciting, emotional and an amazing experience for all of us.”
The adventure allowed the brothers – and their father, Dougie – to connect with members of their family they didn’t even know existed! But alongside the touching family reunion, the clan also explored the sights of India, and had some hair-raising moments along the way…
“One of my favourite moments from the show is when we got an Indian-style haircut, which saw them set my hair on fire!” recalls Scott. “We were all so shocked as my hair is quite literally on fire – it was definitely a haircut I’ll remember!”
“The four of us spending time together doesn’t happen that often,” adds Adam. “So when it does, it’s precious.”
The series starts this Wednesday at 8pm, and will run for the next six
weeks on ITV.
