TORN APART AGAIN!

Walford bosses are penning Kellie Bright’s exit story, as she prepares to leave EastEnders…

-

Just as Mick and Linda have kicked off a fresh chapter and taken back control of the Vic, the Carter clan is set for yet another big shake-up when the pub landlady leaves the Square later this year!

Congratulations are in order for actress Kellie Bright, aka Linda, who recently announced that she and husband Paul Stocker are expecting their third child (see p56), which will inevitably see Linda disappear from Walford for a spell while Kellie goes on maternity leave. So will Mick and Linda be torn apart again? Or are bosses busy crafting a storyline that doesn’t involve splitting up EastEnders’ most popular couple, after the horrors they’ve endured recently? We examine the possibilities…

LINDA GOES TO REHAB

As much as we’re thrilled to witness Mick and Linda back behind the bar, Linda’s struggle with alcoholism is always going to be there, taunting her with every glass of vino she pours.

“If the temptation to drink becomes too much, yet Mick and Linda conclude that running the Vic really is their future, they may have to accept that she needs more help,” poses our Albert Square insider. “Will a stint in rehab prove to be the only solution?”

THE KIDS AREN’T ALL RIGHT

While the Carters will soon have a family reunion to look forward to when daughter Nancy comes home, her brothers Lee and Johnny are still off leading their own lives. But are they as happy as they’ve led their mum and dad to believe?

“We know Lee in particular struggled to take in the news about Mick’s childhood abuse, and he has had depression in the past,” our spy reminds us. “So as Nancy arrives home, will Linda need to depart to take care of one or both of her boys?”

HOLIDAY TIME!

After battling the horror of Mick’s abuse at the hands of wicked Katy Lewis – and surviving Linda’s ing with Max Branning – the very last thing the Carter family wants is to separate. So, perhaps Mick and Linda simply decide to take an extended holiday to Aunt Babe’s old caravan on the coast…

“They may well need a break from Walford if the truth ever emerges about Mick’s sister, Tina, who was killed in cold blood by Gray,” points out our spy. “Whatever the future holds for Mick and Linda, the drama for their family is far from over…”

We can’t wait to see what lies ahead for the pair!
