Hi, Josie! How do you feel about returning to host This Morning?
I feel so honoured.
I still can’t believe they trust me with the job! Never in a million years did I think I’d be doing this. But I’m from a small town and nosy, so I think that helps when it comes to speaking to guests!
You’ve now hosted with Phillip, Holly, Alison and Dermot – have you picked up any tips from them?
Alison showed me how to do the open talkback, where you can hear everyone in the gallery. She’d ring me up and talk me through the show. Phil’s the master of his trade and has given me little tips that I’ve carried with me, too.
What’s been your favourite item that you’ve worked on? loved
I the competition where we went to Lapland: that was magical. You get to meet so many amazing people and do so many amazing things… apart from when they’re chucking me off a mountain, but at least I can say I’ve done it!
You recently filmed Josie’s Camping Capers for This Morning – how did you find that?
I absolutely love being at one with nature. There’s something about the simplicity and beauty of it. However, to be honest, I’m more of a campervan person than a tent one – it’s nice to have a toilet and a shower!
Who would you like to see on the This Morning sofa?
I’d really like to see the chef Tony Singh, who was my mentor on Cooking With The Stars. And Dawn French – just because she’s brilliant!
