A TRIO SHOCK THE VILLAGE WITH DEPARTURE PLANS…
CLASSIC EMMERDALE | ITV3 MON-FRI
Three Emmerdale ladies decide it’s time to head for pastures new this week, but it’s unlikely they’ll be allowed to go quietly.
First up, Zoe’s dinner party takes an awkward turn when she reveals to stunned pals Jack and Diane that she’s leaving the village with little Jean. She’s hoping not to make such a meal of things when it comes to telling Jean’s dad, Scott. However, Scott’s understandably not thrilled at the idea of his daughter living halfway around the world, and what Zoe thinks is a generous offer to fly Scott over to New Zealand from time to time is met with textbook rage. Scott’s mum Viv, however, reckons that the pen is mightier than the sword, and is soon writing up a sexed-up dossier of Zoe’s chequered past before heading to the custody lawyer’s office. Elsewhere, Chas is left both embarrassed and boyfriendless after dad Shadrach drives Denzel’s Panda car into the lake. Sick of her family’s antics after being forced to cover for her dad, Chas reveals to pal Carl that she recently applied for the Army and plans to take up her place. The only trouble is, she hasn’t realised that Carl is head over heels in love with her – will he make a defensive manoeuvre to keep his woman?
