DR AXEL NIESTLÉ
Axel Niestlé is a German military historian and is one of the leading experts on the history of the U-boot Waffe and the Battle of the Atlantic. Among his numerous publications on the subject are illustrated technical monographs on the Type VIIC and Type IXC U-boats and a study of all U-boat losses between 1939 and 1945.
OBERST A.D WOLFGANG SCHNEIDER
Wolfgang Schneider is a leading expert on Panzers and Panzer operations. He served for 41 years as a Panzer officer, retiring in 2010. He served in command functions up to deputy commander of a Panzerbrigade and was also responsible for combat development, doctrine and procurement.
DAWN MONKS
Dawn Monks is a military illustrator with an extensive portfolio of work for publishers and other clients. She has worked for Helion Books and Pen & Sword Books and has undertaken commissions for The Shuttleworth Trust and Hooge Crater Museum. She is director of the Anglo-german battlefield tour company, Zeitgeist Tours.
DR ADRIAN WETTSTEIN
Adrian Wettstein is Senior Academic Adviser at the Swiss Military Academy at ETH Zurich (MILAC), the educational institute for officers of the Swiss Armed Forces. An important part of such learning includes imparting knowledge of military history subjects, in which Dr Wettstein’s specialised knowledge excels.
