Introducing you to some of our main contributors for this issue:
SEAN & COLIN WELCH
Sean and Colin have held lifelong interests in conflict archaeology. On 'retirement', Sean established a Roll of Honour for the 34th Bomb Group. Colin has a degree in Graphic Design but became a professional jazz saxophonist. In 2016, he created a war memorial for Denton, Kent. ‘Research Resource Archaeology’ has become their full-time professional occupation.
DAVID DANNER
David Danner is a lawyer and a military historian who currently resides in Tennessee, USA. He is a native of Florida and is also a United States Army veteran. He has conducted extensive archival research in Germany and all over world in his quest to uncover the complicated history of German state awards.
DR GRAHAM GOODLAD
Graham Goodlad gained a PHD in modern history from Cambridge and has taught history and politics for more than 30 years. He currently works at St John's College in Southsea. Graham is a freelance writer who has written widely on military history for various journals and publications. He specialises in the 19th and 20th Century.
DR IMMANUEL VOIGT
Immanuel is a historian and author based in Jena, Germany, and a previous contributor to Iron Cross magazine. His main areas of research are military, memorial and regional history. He is particularly interested in the Alpenkorps history and aspects of the Imperial German Air Service during the First World War.
