KNIGHTS OF THE AIR 1,000 Piece Jigsaw Puzzles

-

Manufacturer: Zee Productions RRP: £17.99

It was quite likely the various Covid lockdowns, internationally, that prompted a surge of renewed interest in Jigsaw puzzles. Indeed, the privations of that period also created widespread demand for home activities including crafts, reading, and even DIY. It seemed to be the jigsaw, however, which reigned supreme across those times. And this was to the extent that demand for the purchase of puzzles via online sales very often outstripped supply.

Fortunately for puzzle manufacturers, that demand seems to have abated very little – if at all. And now, with the onset of winter in the Northern Hemisphere, the simple and absorbing pleasure of completing a jigsaw puzzle is once again something which will greatly appeal to many.

This latest range of six puzzles from Zee Productions will certainly appeal to the aviation and military history puzzle enthusiast.

The puzzles are 683 x 480 mm and produced to the very highest quality, utilising dramatic artwork from Steve Beatty, and include the Messerschmitt 163 Komet, the Junkers 87 Stuka, the Focke-wulf 189 Uhu, the Messerschmitt 262, the Focke-wulf 190, and the Heinkel 219 Uhu.

A personal favourite in this set is the Messerschmitt 163, and the completed puzzle has sat on the editor's office coffee table for a few weeks now. I’m reluctant to break it up and put it back in its box!

These puzzles will make excellent gifts, or a little personal indulgence for the cold winter evenings. At a modest and reasonable £17.99 each, these are highly recommended.
