THE ROAD TO PEACE
To mark the end of the
First World War Centenary, the Commonwealth War Graves Commission has launched its Road to Peace project, telling 120 stories from among the 120,000 men and women who died during the final 100 days of the First World War. They include Sidcup-born Lieutenant Vivian Sutton, who joined the Honorable Artillery Company in 1914. He died four years later, aged 22, after serving in Ireland, France, Greece, Egypt and Palestine.
