The sixth Leeds Cas­tle Fes­ti­val of Flow­ers drew more than 15,000 fans to see the stun­ning dis­plays themed around ‘Ladies Day’, cre­ated by a host of in­ter­na­tional award­win­ning flo­ral de­sign­ers. Visi­tors had the chance to vote for their favourite dis­play and the win­ner was renowned Dutch de­signer Den­nis Kneep­kens. He cre­ated a beau­ti­ful dis­play ‘Wild­flower’ that took over the Henry VIII Ban­quet­ing Hall, the largest room in the cas­tle. And in an on­line Facebook poll for fol­low­ers to vote for their favourite dis­play, num­ber one spot was awarded to Mor­gan

Flo­ral De­sign­ers Ltd, who cre­ated a ‘Ladies Day at the Races’ dis­play in the Cas­tle Court­yard fea­tur­ing a two-me­tre metal horse.
