KENT CRISPS AT THE CASTLE
Leeds Castle has teamed up with two leading Kentish brands to champion the county’s food, beverage and tourism offering in celebration of the castle’s 900th Anniversary in 2019.
The ‘loveliest castle in the world’ is the official face of
Kent Crisps’ Salt & Vinegar with Biddenden Cider flavour, working in conjunction with the milestone anniversary.
This partnership is just one of many activities planned by Leeds Castle to launch its 900th anniversary celebrations. Other events include the Big 900 Story Writing Challenge with Clare Balding, a Time Capsule burial event with HRH Princess Alexandra and a 900th Anniversary Carnival Pageant planned for summer 2019.
Sir David Steel, CEO at Leeds Castle, confirmed that American Airways – who serve thousands of packets of Kent Crisps a year for its transatlantic flights – are taking the new design, bringing Leeds Castle and Kent to a much wider international audience. bottom of a Champagne flute, then top up with Champagne. Pear & ginger fizz
Pour 1cm Ginger syrup (or use the syrup from a jar of stem ginger) into the bottom of a Champagne flute. Make up to about 3cm with pear juice; top the glass up with Champagne, give it a gentle stir and finish with a few slices of thinly sliced fresh pear.
