A pair of old farm buildings now for sale may not look the part yet, but could one day be two much-loved homes.

The Old Barn and the Old Stable, at Potten Street, St Nicholas-at-Wade, near Margate, have been granted permission for conversion into two separate one-bedroom detached homes, to be built in a traditional style.

The Old Barn is stone and timber and the Old Stable is brick built. Each stands in its own plot of land and has plans approved for an open plan kitchen and living space, bathroom and double bedroom.

They are on the market with GW Finn & Sons, for sale together, at a guide price of £100,000 to £120,000.

The vendor would also consider selling the buildings separately, each with a guide price of £50,000 to £60,000.

The buildings are at the end of Potten Street, a no through road, in a quiet location to the north west of the village of St Nicholas-at-Wade.

The village has a large range of local amenities including two pubs, a primary school and village shop. Margate is just over six miles away and Canterbury 13 miles.

For information ring the agent on 01304 612147.
