There’s lots of choice at property auction
If you’re looking for a renovation project for the last six months of 2017, call off the search.
This two-bedroom home on the outer fringes of Maidstone is ripe for renovation and available at auction later this month.
The end-terrace home is in a quiet cul-de-sac in ever popular Barming. It is among 142 lots listed for sale by Clive Emson, the land and property auctioneers, ahead of this month’s sale at the Kent Showground at Detling, near Maidstone.
The house in Mill Walk has a guide price of £190,000 to £200,000.
As well as the two bedrooms, the accommodation includes an entrance hall, living room, kitchen, inner hallway, bathroom and second reception room. There’s a parking space at the front of house plus a good size back garden.
Also available in the sale is a large field near Ashford with woodland and ponds and covering more than 50 acres – the size of 34 football pitches.
Just off Tally Ho Road in Shadoxhurst, the field has a guide price of £320,000 to £340,000.
Another star lot is a property made up of 11 flats and a plot of land with sea views. Rupa House in Risborough Lane, Cheriton, has two empty flats, and the remaining eight are let on shorthold tenancy agreements.
The guide price is £380,000plus.
A plot of land in Sandgate, with cross-Channel views and planning permission for a fourbedroom home, is also set to attract developers.
The land is next to Radnor Cliff on the Sandgate Riviera and is being offered with a freehold guide price of £300,000.
Clive Emson is the country’s largest independent regional land and property auctioneer and sold lots worth £17 million at its May sale. The sales follow hot on the heels of the recordbreaking March auction which was the most successful in the firm’s 30-year history with £22m raised.
Managing director James Emson said: “As ever, there has been something for everyone – with vendors achieving some stunning results and superb prices and purchasers often finding the property of their dreams or an unexpected delight.”
The public auction takes place on Tuesday, June 13 at the Kent Event Centre at 11am.
