Action from the Kent Girls’ and Ladies’ League cup finals day
AROUND 2,000 spectators watched the Kent Girls and Ladies’ League finals day at Cobdown Sports and Social Club on Sunday.
The men’s and women’s Champions League trophies were on display at the event and 500 people queued for photos.
On the pitch, there were some close games, with a couple going to penalties. All the finals were played in the right spirit. Amanda Beeput scored a hat-trick and Laura Howard netted the other as Vinters beat Parkwood 4-2 to win the under-15 Tina Marshall Cup.
The Kent Girls and Ladies’ League features just under 100 teams from across the county.
