Cocaine fine

A 33-year-old man has been fined after nightclub security staff found a small packet of cocaine on him.

Maidstone magistrates heard the drugs were discovered after John Sam left a toilet at the Source nightclub in Rose Yard, Maidstone.

Pleading guilty, Sam, of Park Farm, Tonbridge,told the court: “It’s not a regular thing – I’m annoyed with myself for taking it. It was just a small wrap and it won’t happen again.”

He was fined £240 with £109 costs.
