Arson charge

A TEENAGER has been charged with arson after a shed was set alight in Upper Fant Road, Barming on Tuesday.

One pump from Maidstone arrived at 1.20pm and called for police help after they thought it had been started deliberately.

The 19-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was bailed to appear at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court next week.
