Alexandra loves thought of being homeward bound

Despite achieving fame Alexandra, who grew up in Chart Sutton, insists she still loves coming back to the area and spending time with her family, who now live in Wateringbu­ry.

“I love being at home with my family and I try to get back to see them every week,” she said.

“My mum’s cooking is the best in the world. I love her food, but my dad is a great cook too.”

The three-day festival will begin on Friday, July 19, on a field next to where Tower View and Kings Hill Avenue meet.

Tickets are adults £28, children (six-16) £17.50, family ticket (two adults/two children aged six-16) £80.

Children five and under go free for all concerts.

Locally sourced food and drink will be available on site.
