Learning floral decorating skills
CHURCHGOERS from across the three Sutton Parishes enjoyed a flower decorating workshop.
The session at St Michael’s Church on Chart Road, Chart Sutton, was taught by Jayne McCarthy from True Flowers.
Thirty-five people who were keen to learn how to decorate their church attended.
The morning, which also included a raffle and bring and buy sale, raised £114 which will be reinvested into future flower displays.
Organiser Janet Moore said: “It went extremely well, it was a lovely morning. A big group of people were there and everyone really enjoyed it.
“We were shown how to decorate by a wonderful teacher and everyone loved the whole thing.”
