PADDOCK WOOD had 12 runners at the Bupa 10K on Bank Holiday Monday. Maria Heslop was the first team member home in 37 minutes. She was second in her age category and 27th woman. The first man to cross the line for Paddock Wood was James Ridger in 37.09, just a second in front of his team-mate Pete Buckingham. Nearly 13,000 runners joined double Olympic gold medal winner Mo Farah on the start line on the Mall. Needless to say, Farah was the overall winner in 29.13.
