In, out: Following the 10am service on the first Sunday of each month a small army of volunteers go to work to help maintain St Margaret’s – inside and out. Their main roles are gardening, painting, polishing and cleaning and normally they do these tasks between 11.30am and 1pm. No matter the level of skill you possess and irrespective of your age you will be wanted. Take your lunch and you’ll soon get to know the other members of the team and, yes, it can be fun and it will certainly be appreciated because everyone likes to see a clean and tidy church and its surroundings so come along and together we can help make that difference.
