Neighbourhood Plan: The NP has gone back to public consultation, therefore the parish news format was used to publish the updated plan details and copies have been delivered to every house in the parish. The clerk had received only one response from a parishioner to date. The public consultation commenced on June 1 and concludes on July 13. Sports field: The clerk had received a complaint regarding the permanent closure of the sports field gates, which was due to the criminal damage being caused in recent weeks. The complainant felt that the closure created a potential danger with cars being parked in the Lenham Road. Councillors explained that in the circumstances there was no choice but that it would be discussed again soon. There had been an application for an under-12 football team to use the field on a Sunday morning and from a resident who wishes to erect a memorial bench.
