Both clinics are from 2.00pm to 6.30pm. A Meningitis ACWY vacciation programme is being offered to all 17 and 18 year olds born between 1.9.1996 and 31.8.1997. It is also recommende­d for students going to university for the first time aged 19 to 24 years Shingles vaccinatio­n: Anyone over 70 is illegible for the shingles vaccinatio­n. A catch up for those aged 78 is also offered. Horticultu­ral Society: September will kick off the early autumn season so on Tuesday 8th September the Horticultu­ral Society will have a Question and Answer session with Steve Bradly, starting at 8.00pm in the Vestry Hall. There will be a competitio­n for ‘A Plate of Produce from the Garden’. Parish Council: The parish council will meet at 8.00pm in The Allens on Tuesday 8th September. There will be a short public forum afrer the meeting. Musical Hog Roast: Sir Nick and Lady Fenn are hosting the Friends of Marden Heritage hog roast on Sunday 13th September from 12.30pm to 4.30pm at Turnpike House, Maidstone Road. Tickets are £12 for adults, £8 for children (5-15), under 5s free. Take along your own drinks, table and chairs. In addition an afternoon of music to enjoy. People: Drama workshops will be Raspberry Tea: Oakdene Farm is one of the biggest producers of soft fruit in the U.K. Not only growing fruit but packing and distributi­ng fruit throughout the country. This is a chance to learn about the way in which this is done and enjoy some of the products in the form of a delicious Raspberry Tea at Oakdene Farm, Leeds Road, on Saturday September 12 from 3pm to 5pm. Messy Church: The next session of this church at St. Nicholas Church will take place on Monday September 7 from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. Messy Church is primarily aimed at children with their parents/carers. After a settling in period with a drink and biscuit and colouring/ games the children are introduced to the theme for the session and have activities.
