Hughes hat-trick lifts Eccles

Matt Hughes grabbed a hattrick as defending Premier Division champions Eccles twice came from behind to beat Three Suttons 6- 4.
They trailed 1- 0 and 2-1 but Hughes, Sam Terry and Glen Moynes’ late first-half effort put them 3-2 up at the break.
Matt Terry increased their advantage, before Three Suttons netted their third from the penalty spot.
Hughes completed his treble to make it 6-3, with Suttons adding a fourth before the end.
Marden Minors came from 2- 0 down to earn a point against Malgo. The home side had a goal ruled out for offside, before having a player sent off for a late challenge on Marden goalkeeper Jamie Kelly.
The first half ended goalless, only for 10-man Malgo to score twice, before Marden substitute Ali Simpson made an impact.

Three goals in the space of 20 first-half minutes set up Lenham Wanderers’ 5-1 victory over Trisports.
Craig Haynes’ free-kick broke the deadlock, with Josh Conlon and Richard Percy making it 3- 0 at half-time.

In Division 2, Jamie Isherwood and Luke Jarvis both hit hat-tricks as league new-boys Kilnbarn eased to a 7- 0 win at West Farleigh Reserves.
Isherwood got the first three, including a penalty awarded for deliberate handball leading to a home player being sent off.
Jarvis (2) and Adam Clare’s tap-in made it six at the break.
Farleigh battled in the second half, before Jarvis rounded things off with his third goal.
A late equaliser earned Ditton Minors a 2-2 draw at newcomers Ashford Athletic.
They led 1- 0 before conceding twice against the hosts who were reduced to 10 men following a couple of injuries.
Minors got a second with minutes left, following a late counter-attack.
