Wateringbury missed the chance to go top of the Premier Division on Saturday when they lost 2-1 to Three Suttons.
Defensive errors either side of half-time saw Wateringbury go 2- 0 down before captain Jack Martin hit back 12 minutes from time.
But despite a frantic finish, second-placed Wateringbury couldn’t turn the game around.
League leaders Eccles, who remain three points clear, were beaten 2-1 by Staplehurst Monarchs in the Charity Cup.
Richard Smith equalised for Eccles after Staplehurst had taken the lead although the Monarchs then went back in front. Eccles found the net in the last minute but the effort was disallowed.
