Bulls bounce back in final
AYLESFORD SEVENOAKS
A rampant performance from Aylesford Bulls in the Kent Shield final helped ease some of the pain from missing out on promotion.
The Sevenoaks cup match, held during finals day at Aylesford, came just a week after a narrow defeat to Heathfield.
Defeat in their final league match meant Aylesford finished third in London 3 South East, while the team that beat them claimed the second promotion spot.
There was no hangover from Aylesford a week on.
In a dominant performance against Sevenoaks, they ran in six tries to clinch a 40-5 victory.
Try scorers for the victors were Ben Ridout, Sam Proctor (2), Michael Jackson, Jamie Carmillet and Richie Roddis with Will Kelley converting five of them.
