It’s back-to-back Premier Division defeats for Hollingbou­rne after losing to Blackheath Wanderers.

Dan Pritchard claimed 4- 42 and Zachary Gayfer 3-31 as Blackheath were bowled out for 241.

Several players made starts but nobody pushed on as Bourne made 162 in reply, beaten by 79 runs.

Championsh­ip East leaders Staplehurs­t eased to another victory.

Sam McConnel (4-32) was the leading bowler as opponents Nelson were dismissed for 95.

Graham Ward went for a duck in reply but in came captain Tom Davey, who clinched a nine-wicket win with an unbeaten 71, including 11 fours and two sixes.

Kings Hill captain Shaun McMurray took 7- 41 in his side’s win over Cobham.

McMurray’s efforts saw Cobham held to 173-9, with Wemer Laubscher (62) completing a six-wicket success.

Headcorn are third in Division 1A Central after beating Upchurch by five wickets.

Rob Mansell (4-18) broke an opening stand of 51 while Ed Scrivens (3-10) also bowled well as Upchurch were held to 99- 8.

Headcorn were patient – captain James Barker’s 14 off 54 balls proof of that – before completing victory in the penultimat­e over.

The Mote 3rds wasted no time taking care of Hunton Wanderers.

They clinched a nine-wicket victory in 13 overs after Jacob Taylor (3-13) and Martin Prudence (3-17) teamed up to dismiss Hunton for 61.

Leybourne limped to 64 all out in a nine-wicket defeat by LESSA Christ Church in Division 1A West.

Snodland Community also struggled with the bat, bowled out for 89 by a Gravesend RF side who won by five wickets.

Holborough Anchorians 2nds lost their unbeaten record but remain top of Division 1B Central.

Sunil Landa (63) and No.9 Chris Drury (26) kept Anchs in the hunt chasing 177 against Stonehouse.

But they ended up 164 all out, losing by 12 runs.

Lenham finished nine runs short against Higham & Mockbeggar.

Simon Humphrey (2-27) was the pick of the attack as Higham were limited to 126- 6.

Adrian Longley (41 not out) threatened to lead Lenham home but ran out of overs with the score on 117- 6.

A string of single-figure scores dented Leeds & Broomfield 2nds in Division 2A East.

James Pope (40) was one of only two players to pass 10 in a total of 104-9.

Pope (3-36) also bowled well but Cobham won by three wickets.

Staplehurs­t 2nds stayed top of Division 2B Central, beating Rumwood by 94 runs.

Opener Mark Savage (44) top scored as the leaders closed on 174-9, Joe Millen claiming 5- 42.

Charlie Carpenter took 2- 6 in four overs, with 10-man Rumwood making 80 in reply.

James Waterson took 3-8 in one over as The Mote 4ths beat Lordswood 4ths by five wickets. He finished off the innings as Lords were bowled out for 141.

Headcorn 2nds won a lowscoring game at Gravesend by 13 runs.

Defending 93, Manosanker Selvaratna­m claimed 6-24 as Gravesend were out for 80.

Yalding’s lead at the top of Division 2C Central is down to a point after a 52-run defeat against Holmesdale 3rds.

Skipper James Fenn (5-38) bowled well but a total of 179-9 was enough for the visitors, with Yalding 127 all out in reply.

Hunton Wanderers 2nds hit 144-8 against Sherwood 3rds, losing by eight wickets. Staplehurs­t pipped Linton Park in the last over of a thrilling Weald of Kent under-16 semi-final. Martin Christophe­rson (51 not out) anchored the reply and scored the winning runs with four balls to spare as Staplehurs­t reached a target of 125 with three wickets in hand. Earlier, Tobey Castle scored a quick 53 for Linton, a knock containing 10 boundaries, with bold strokeplay from Toby Joseph (29). Linton took early wickets through Castle (3-21) and Riley Butler (2-27). Staplehurs­t will play Bearsted or Leeds & Broomfield in the final in August. Hollingbou­rne beat Mote Colts by 39 runs in the under-13 league. Bourne’s innings of 138-2 was built around undefeated 30s from Ollie Patel and Phoebe Wilkinson. The Mote’s response was kept in check by spinner Abishek Pushpavina­than, who took 3-2. Hollingbou­rne under-11s reached the cup semi-finals with a three-run win over Staplehurs­t. In the Medway League, Linton Park under-13s suffered their second last-over defeat in a fortnight as Old Williamson­ians chased down 108.
