I found the letter on Brexit from Colin Bullen (KM July 8) to be quite appallingly triumphalist in tone – this is not at all what is needed if any sort of reconciliation is to be achieved in this now-broken country.

The nebulous advantages he perceives will be slow to materialise, if ever, while the negative impacts, as predicted by Remain, are already with us.
