No rush to cash in on Dack

Gills boss Justin Edinburgh insists the club don’t have to sell Bradley Dack.
Their prize asset hit the headlines again on Tuesday with an extra-time winner to see off Watford in the second round of the EFL Cup.
Championship side Brighton are the latest team to be linked with a move for the 22-yearold, with a £ 2m offer thought to be on the table. The transfer window closes on Wednesday.
Dack missed a penalty against Watford but kept his head and hit the winner, an attitude which the Gills manager believes will take him to the big time. But he hopes not just yet.
Edinburgh said: “That is why Bradley will eventually leave the football club. We will be sorry to see him leave but to overcome that and go and dispatch the winner showed the character of the player and what he has ahead of him.
“I hope he will be here (after the window closes). It has been a long window and we have a week to go. I have always said it is out of our control.
“If the right offer from the right club comes along, and Bradley feels it is the right move for him, then we understand that.
“We are not in a position that we need to sell. Bradley has a good head on young shoulders and I have a good relationship with him. We never keep anything from him.
“If we get any enquiry, any bid, we make him fully aware but we will get the right price that his talent commands.”
Dack has yet to hit the form which he did in the first half of last season, culminating in a big-money bid from Bristol City in January.
Edinburgh added: “Hopefully, we can have him for this period because it has been a stop-start first bit of the season for him and we haven’t really had the chance to get him going to get to his full potential yet.”
Gills, who lost 5- 0 at Scunthorpe last weekend, travel to Shrewsbury in League 1 tomorrow (Saturday).
