An officer caught Dzervus, of Boxley Road, on his body camera threatening his wife: “Now I will kill you and you will be spitting blood out.”

Dzervus flew into a drunken rage after a night at Mote Park with another couple when his wife told him she was going home.

“This happened multiple times,” Maidstone Crown Court was told.

“She lost consciousness. She was screaming and sought to cover her face with her arms.

“The other couple tried to intervene and hold him back but they were not successful.

“She came to and he then carried her some distance and dropped her on the ground.”

They went to the park exit where Dzervus continued the attack.

“She believed she was going to die,” said Mr De Banzie.

“She managed to get up and walk away.

“He ran after her and grabbed her head from behind.

“He started to beat her once again.

“She tried to stop cars to seek assistance. He was trying to walk her back to the park.

“She saw a police car and flagged it down.”

The victim suffered bruises and scratches to her arms, legs, back and face and her whole face was swollen.
