They trailed 2-1 early on, led 3-2 at half-time, before hitting six more in the second. Ben Whitehead was the other scorer.

Joe Walker’s hat-trick helped Lenham Wanderers beat Marden Minors 7-1.

Minors took an early lead, before Joe Smith put Lenham level. Tom Hunt hit the second with a free-kick and Walker added the third before half-time.

Jason Batt and Walker then hit two each in the second half.

Jaimie Allen and Coups put Athletic 2- 0 up but Ditton pulled one back.

Craig Bridger got a third before Minors added a second before half-time.

They got a third to level things up before Coups’ audacious finish wrapped up the points.

Four-goal Luke Moynes helped Eccles Reserves beat Parkwood Jupitors 7- 0 and clinch their place in the Glosrose Challenge Cup, Group B final.

Harry Bailey and Aaron Carwardine were also on target.

They meet AFC Ashford Athletic at the Gallagher Stadium on Good Friday, April 14 (7.30pm).
