Learning how to make friends with frogs

-

Visitors to a nature centre and conservation charity enjoyed learning more about ponds. While children had the opportunity to go pond dipping at Kent Wildlife Trust, the adults learned all about frog-friendly gardening and ways a pond could benefit their gardens. Children were given an hour to find and catch a variety of pond life, before getting the chance to view it through a microscope to find out more about what they had gathered. Meanwhile Maureen Rainey, gardens advisor at the Chatham Road charity, took adults on a tour of the gardens, explaining how to build a pond no matter the size of the garden.
