Mote Park has the X factor
Thousands of music fans flocked to Mote Park to watch singers, dancers and performers give their all at this year’s Big Day Out.
Louisa Johnson, winner of The X Factor in 2015, took to the main stage as the headline act on Saturday after Britain’s Got Talent dance troupe Diversity showed off their moves.
Reggie ‘N’ Bollie maintained the talent show theme as they sang to X Factor fans before Atomic Kitten’s Kerry Katona put on her own show.
The singer sprung a surprise by inviting her 15-year-old daughter Molly onto the stage to show talent runs through the family.
A drum school and hip-hop dance school gave youngsters a chance to try their hand at replicating their pop idols.
Children were also treated to a circus school, pony riding and a bubble-making workshop.
Television fans were able to meet on-screen icons Chase and Marshall from Paw Patrol as well as CBeebies Bing and Flop.
Fairytale princesses were also on hand to sing smash hits from household favourite films such as Froze, Beauty and the Beast and Trolls.
While children had no end of entertainment, parents were given a trip down memory lane with a killer Queen tribute act bringing an arena-style show to Maidstone’s centre stage.
