Bearsted led on 10 minutes when Charley Epps combined with Reece Collins, whose cross was headed home by Constantin Scarlat from 10 yards.
The goal signalled a spell of dominance with Collins hitting the side-netting, Ehis Izokun firing over and Peter Williams going close after chipping the keeper.
The pattern remained the same in the second half but Bearsted had to wait until the 88th minute to clinch victory.
Ryan Croucher was the scorer from eight yards after Graeme Andrews intercepted a pass and found Matt Garner.
Peter Williams’ hat-trick in a 4-2 win over Hollands & Blair last Wednesday included his 100th Bearsted goal.
