Mercedes clocked doing 100mph
An uninsured and unlicensed Mercedes driver who was caught doing speeds of more than 100mph has been slapped with a ban.
Andrew Maltby was clocked travelling at 101.74mph for a 1.5mile stretch of the M20 near Lenham last October.
The 47- year- old, of Ruffets Wood, Gravesend, appeared before magistrates in Medway earlier this month where he pleaded guilty to speeding, driving without a licence and without insurance.
He had previously denied the offences at an earlier hearing.
Maltby was disqualified from getting behind the wheel for 56 days and fined £400 for the speeding offence.
He was also ordered to pay £500 for driving without insurance, £100 for driving without a licence and charged £150 in various court costs.
