Broadstair­s beat Tenterden by 96 runs after defending their score of 230-7.

Electing to bat, the hosts were boosted by a 56-run opening partnershi­p between Jamie Dewell (24) and Jack Wheeler (46), both of whom were dismissed by Jamie Bristow-Diamond (4-46). Scott Narraway (48) and Matthew Frewin (40) also chipped in with useful knocks to help their side reach 230. Tenterden were frustrated in their reply by the bowling efforts of Bradley Ellison (4-40) and Jayojit Basu (3-31).

Tim Richards opened with 33 and Ryan Knight hit an unbeaten 34 but Tenterden were eventually bowled out for 134.

Amir Raza picked up 4-28 to help Bromley towards a twowicket win over St Lawrence & Highland Court.

Winning the toss and opting to bat, St Lawrence were led by a 40-run partnershi­p between Charley Nash and Matthew Hammond.

Justin Watson added 33 before being caught by Richard Selvey-Clinton, one of Raza’s four wickets.

Raza struck again to bowl Hammond for 77, with St Lawrence finishing 212 all out.

Having fallen to 8-1 in reply, Bromley responded through Sam Smith’s 32 to reach 56 by the time he was caught by Hammond off the bowling of Dylan Emmett.

Raza also proved influentia­l with the bat, top scoring on 46 to help his side reach a winning total of 215-8. Upchurch claimed a ninewicket victory over Linden Park after three wickets apiece from Faisal Zaman and Alistair Owen-Browne. Batting first, Park slipped to 32-4 and were eventually bowled out for 146 despite a top score of 54 by Daniel Corner.

Aaron Walker (86 not out) and Phillip Apps (33 not out) led the reply as Upchurch secured the win on 147-1 after 22.4 overs.

Holmesdale won by six wickets against Folkestone. Having elected to bat, Folkestone made 224-8 which included 92 from Jarred Lysaught and Leon Morgan’s 38.

Luke Blackaby had been Holmedale’s biggest threat with the ball, taking 4-33 – including the wicket of Lysaught to deny him his ton. Holmesdale reached 226-4 in 47.3 overs.
