ASHFORD AREA AMBERLEAZE & PILGRIMS WAY, WESTWELL (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Amberleaze and part of Pilgrims Way, Westwell, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed between the junctions of Westwell Lane and Squids Gate Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Pilgrims Way, Westwell Lane, The Street, and vice versa.
BETHERSDEN ROAD, BETHERSDEN. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of works to replace a telecom pole, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bethersden Road, Bethersden, on or after 20th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Sparrow Hatch Lane and Fridd Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Fridd Lane, Old Surrenden Manor Road, A28 Ashford Road, The Street, Ninn Lane, Etchden Road, Bears Lane, Bethersden Road and vice versa.
BOWERLAND LANE, CHILHAM (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow gas connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Bowerland Lane, Chilham, from 08:00 hours on 4th April 2022 to 17:00 hours on 22nd April 2022, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Owl Cottage and Plumtrees, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
No diversion route available, but access will be maintained where it is safe to do so.
CHURCH ROAD, SMEETH (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Smeeth, on or after 8th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A20 Hythe Road and The Ridgeway, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via A20 Hythe Road, A20 Main Road, Stone Hill, Plain Road, Woolpack Hill, Church Road, and vice versa.
CUCKOO LANE, ASHFORD (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow zebra crossing construction works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Cuckoo Lane, Ashford, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 15 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of Chart Road and Wesley School Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow tree and vegetation maintenance works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Kenardington Road, Appledore, on or after 7th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 16:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Hornes Place Oast, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

OLANTIGH ROAD, WYE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow trenching works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Olantigh Road, Wye, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 5 days, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside numbers 10 and 12, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

THE STREET, KENNINGTON (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Kennington, on or after 6th April 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside Little Acre (number 80), to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternative route is via The Street, Church Road, A2042 Faversham Road, A28 Canterbury Road, and vice versa.
CANTERBURY AREA B2205 SEA STREET, HERNE BAY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow works to be carried out on washout, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2205 Sea Street, Herne Bay, on or after 5th April 2022 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 56, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative round for Northbound traffic is via Fleetwood Avenue, The Circus, Station Road and B2205 Avenue Road.
The alternative route for southbound traffic is via B2205 Avenue Road, Station Road, The Circus and Albany Drive.

To allow works to be carried out to install apparatus on existing water main, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Church Lane, Westbere, on or after 19th April 2022 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed at the junction with A28 Island Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow plant transfer works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Out Elmstead Lane, Barham, on or after 22nd April 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed from outside Black Hill Cottage to outside Elmstead Farmhouse, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for traffic travelling eastbound is via Elmstead Lane, A2 Dover Road, Black Robin Lane and Valley Road.
The alternative route for traffic travelling westbound is via Valley Road, The Street, Church Lane, Gravel

ST STEPHENS ROAD, CANTERBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow level crossing maintenance and other associated works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of St Stephens Road, Canterbury, on or after 3rd April 2022, with estimated completion by 30th May 2022, or until the works have been completed.
St Stephens Road will be closed between the hours of 22:00 and 06:00 only, on the following dates.
From 3rd April 2022, with estimated completion by 4th April 2022.
From 25th April 2022, with estimated completion by 2nd May 2022.
From 27th May 2022, with estimated completion by 30th May 2022.

CANTERBURY & SWALE AREAS DENSTROUDE LANE, DENSTROUDE & DUNKIRK (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow carriageway preservation works to be carried out as part of a Surface Treatment Scheme Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Denstroude Lane, Denstroude & Dunkirk.
This Order takes effect on or after 4th April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months or until works have been completed. It may be necessary for some of the roads to be closed on multiple occasions for each phase of the works. Planned dates will be published in advanced of the works on One.Network and indicated by signage displayed on site 14 days before they start.
The road will be closed between the junctions with Dargate Road and A290 Honey Hill, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The road will be closed between B255 Southfleet Road and Highfield Farm.
The alternative route is via B255 Highcross Road, Hook Green Road, Dale Road, B262 Station Road and vice versa.
BRAKEFIELD ROAD, SOUTHFLEET. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Brakefield Road, Southfleet, on or after 21st April 2022 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Gloxinia Road.
There is no alternative route but access will be given as and when safe to do so.
