SANDOWN ROAD, DEAL. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of works to erect a new telegraph pole, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Sandown Road, Deal, on or after 20th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside numbers 1 to 7 Mariner’s View, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Sandown Road, Godwyn Road, The Marina, Harold Road and vice versa.

ST MARYS GROVE & UPPER STREET, TILMANSTON­E (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on St Marys Grove and part of Upper Street, Tilmanston­e, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 3 days, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of School Road and Dover Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Upper Street, Chapel Road, Lower Street, Dover Road, and vice versa.

UPPER STREET, KINGSDOWN. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of new service connection works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Upper Street, Kingsdown, on or after 19th April 2022 for up to 11 week days, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Signal House and Chalkhill Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via Upper Street, Cliffe Road, Kingsdown Road, Granville Road, A258 Dover Road, Ringwould Road, Chalk Hill Road and vice versa.

YORK ROAD, WALMER. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of new supply connection works. Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of York Road, Walmer, on or after 21st April 2022 for up to 7 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Sydenham Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via York Road, North Barrack Road, The Strand, Wollaston Road and vice versa.

FOLKESTONE & HYTHE AREA CHURCH HILL, HAWKINGE. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of drainage improvemen­t works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Church Hill, Hawkinge, on or after 18th April 2022 for up to 22 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction of Alkham Valley Road to a pproximate­ly 150m past the other side of the A20 bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Church Hill, Alkham Valley Road, Standen Lane, Flegis Court Lane and vice versa.

CUCKOLDS LANE, SNARGATE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Cuckolds Lane, Snargate, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Rectory Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Cuckolds Lane, B2080 Rhee Wall Road, Arrowhead Lane, and vice versa.

CINQUE PORTS AVENUE, HYTHE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING & SUSPEND ONE-WAY) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow sewer replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Cinque Ports Avenue, Hythe, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 11 days, between 09:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed. The one-way order will be suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed outside number 40, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Cinque Ports Avenue, St Leonards Road, and vice versa.

RANGE ROAD, HYTHE. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of new sewer connection works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Range Road, Hythe, on or after 18th April 2022 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of The Old Scout Hut and number 8, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There will be no alternativ­e route but access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

STOCKHAM LANE, SWINGFIELD (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on Stockham Lane, Swingfield, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 15 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternativ­e route is via Swanton Lane, Oak Hill, A260 Canterbury Road, and vice versa.

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of A227 Wrotham Road, Meopham, on or after 24th April 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Chapmans Hill and Amhurst.

Because of sewer connection works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Chiltern Road, Constable Road & Rembrandt Drive, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

Chiltern Road will be closed at the junction with Constable Road.

Constable Road will be closed at the north side of Rembrandt Drive.

Rembrandt Drive will be closed at the junction with Constable Road.

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Round Street, Cobham, on or after 22nd April 2022 for up to 1 day between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed at the junction with White Post Lane.

Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Queen Street, Gravesend, on or after 19th April 2022 for up to 6 days or until the works have been completed. The One-Way Order will be suspended to allow access.

To allow gas main replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Amsbury Road & Westerhill Road, Linton, on or after 4th April 2022, with estimated completion by 16th June 2022, or until the works have been completed.

The works will be carried out in phases, as detailed below.

Phase 1

Amsbury Road, Coxheath & Linton will be closed from 4th April 2022, with estimated completion by 30th May 2022.

The road will be closed (in sections) from outside Amsbury House to the junction with Westerhill Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Phase 2

Westerhill Coxheath & Linton will be closed from 2nd May 2022, with estimated completion by 16th June 2022.

DEAN STREET, EAST FARLEIGH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Dean Street, East Farleigh, on or after 20th April 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with New Cut and Lower Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

EAST STREET, HUNTON (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow trail hole and mains replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of East Street, Hunton, on or after 4th April 2022, with estimated completion by 28th June 2022, or until the works have been completed.

The works will be carried out in phases, as detailed below.

Phase 1 - from 4th April 2022, with estimated completion by 13th April 2022.

Phase 2 - from 19th April 2022, with estimated completion by 28th June 2022.

To allow civil and cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on George Street & Clapper Lane, Staplehurs­t, on or after 4th April 2022 for up to 2 days between the hours fo 09:00 and 17:00, or until the works have been completed.
