Kent County Council, acting in exercise of its powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, makes or intends to make the following Orders.

ASHFORD AREA BRABOURNE ROAD, WYE, & THE STREET, BROOK (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow pole inspection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on Brabourne Road, Wye, and part of The Street, Brook, on or after 13th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.

Brabourne Road will be closed for the entire length. The Street will be closed between the junctions of Troy Town Lane and Amage Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

For the road closure at Brabourne Road the alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via Amage Road, Wye Road, The Street, New Barn Road, New Barn Hill, Pilgrims Way and vice versa.

For the road closure at The Street the alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via The Street, Spelders Hill, Naccolt Road, Oxenturn Road, Upper Bridge Street, Scotten Street, Coldharbou­r Lane, Amage Road, and vice versa.

BROMLEY GREEN ROAD, RUCKINGE. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of utility repair and maintenanc­e works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Bromley Green Road, Ruckinge, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Avoca, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Hamstreet Road, Capel Road, Bromley Green Road and vice versa.

CHURCH HILL, KINGSNORTH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow pole replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y

prohibit through traffic on part of Church Hill, Kingsnorth, on or after 12th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Pound Cottage and Orchid Cottage, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for any Eastbound traffic is via Church Hill, Ashford Road, Park Farm Estate Roundabout, Romney Marsh Road, A2042 Romney Marsh Road Roundabout, A2042 Bad Munstereif­el Road, A2070 Bad Munstereif­el Slip East Bound Off, A2070 Hythe Road Roundabout, A2070 Hamstreet Bypass, Violet Way, Finn Farm Road, and Church Hill. CHURCH LANE, SHADOXHURS­T. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of drainage works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on Church Lane, Shadoxhurs­t, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternativ­e route is via Woodchurch Road, Hornash

To allow sewer connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Front Road, Woodchurch, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 8 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 135 and the

junction of B2067 Brook Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Due to carriage deteriorat­ion, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Green Hill Lane, Egerton, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 66 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of New Road and Mundy Bois Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Mundy Bois Road, Rock Hill

Road, New Road, and vice versa.

ROMNEY ROAD & GLOVER ROAD, ASHFORD (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow pole replacemen­t works to be carried out,

Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Romney Road and Glover Road, Ashford, on or after 11th April 2022 for up

to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The roads will be closed between the junction of A292 Hythe Road and number 25 Glover Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Emergency access will be maintained on Romney Road. The alternativ­e route is via Glover Road, Hunter Road,

and Hythe Road.

THE STREET, MERSHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Mersham, on or after 13th April 2022 for up to 3 days, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 1 and The

Old Bakery House, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via The Street, A20 Hythe Road,

Station Road, Bower Road, and vice versa.

THE STREET, WILLESBORO­UGH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of The Street, Willesboro­ugh, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 12 days, between 09:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 66, to the

extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The road will be closed between Wissenden Lane and Wissenden Green, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Tuesnoad Lane, Wissenden Green, Wissenden Lane and vice versa.
