To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Forge Lane, Whitfield, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from Forge Lane House to the junction of Chapel Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Forge Lane, Sandwich Road,

GILFORD ROAD, DEAL. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on Gilford Road, Deal, on or after 28th April 2022

for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternativ­e route is via Park Avenue, A258 London

GROVE ROAD, WALMER (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on Grove Road, Walmer, on or after 14th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and

15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed for the entire length.

To allow utility works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Northbourn­e Road, Great Mongeham, on or after 14th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Masie Lodge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Because of new utility connection works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on Selson Lane, Eastry, on or after 27th April 2022 for up to 2 days, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.

prohibit through traffic on part of Statenboro­ugh Lane, Eastry, on or after 13th April 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of Little Statenboro­ugh Villa, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

VARIOUS ROADS, WOOTTON (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Due to Motorsport­s events taking place, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on various roads, as detailed below: • Denton Lane

FOLKESTONE & HYTHE AREA B2075 ROMNEY ROAD & LYDD AIRPORT APPROACH ROAD, LYDD. (40MPH SPEED LIMIT & NO WAITING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

For the safety of the public whilst events are being held at Lydd Airport, Kent County Council intends to make an Order for traffic on B2075 Romney Road, Lydd to be restricted to 40mph between A259 Lydd Road and the 30mph speed limit. There will be no waiting for traffic on Lydd Airport Approach Road, Lydd, between B2075 Romney Road and the airport car park.

Connected Festival - from 10:00 hours on 30th April 2022 to 02:00 hours on 1st May 2022.

Dream Valley - from 09:00 hours on 28th May 2022 to 23:00 hours on 29th May 2022.

BEACH ROAD & WOODLAND WAY, DYMCHURCH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of gas mains replacemen­t works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on Beach Road and Woodland Way, Dymchurch, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 22 days or until the works have been completed.

The roads will be closed at their junctions with each other.

The alternativ­e route for both roads is via Redoubt Way, Uden Road, Beverley Gardens and vice versa.

ELVINGTON LANE, HAWKINGE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow Openreach works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y

prohibit through traffic on part of Elvington Lane, Hawkinge, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between number 2 and the junctions of Aerodrome Road and Paddleswor­th Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternativ­e route is via Aerodrome Road, A260 Spitfire Way, A260 Canterbury Road, Crete Road West, Elvington Lane, and vice versa.

SHEARWAY, BURMARSH (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow Openreach work to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Shearway, Burmarsh, on or after 15th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 08:00 hours and 18:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between La Toppa and the side of number 5 Painesfiel­d Close, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

No diversion route available, but access will be maintained when it is safe to do so.

STANDEN LANE, HAWKINGE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow Openreach works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y

prohibit through traffic on part of Standen Lane, Hawkinge, on or after 11th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 10:30 hours and 14:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of

Alkham Valley Road and Pudding Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow drainage works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Stone Hill, Sellindge, on or after 12th April 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions of A20 Main Road and Southenay Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

GRAVESHAM AREA ADMERS WOOD, VIGO (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of drainage repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Admers Wood, Vigo, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 37 and 38. There is no alternativ­e route but access will be maintained when safe to do so.

Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Batts Road Junction Of Gold Street To Junction With Henley Street, Cobham, on or after 23rd April 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Road, Higham, on or after 29th April 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside The Hedgerows.

Because of the re-setting of carriagewa­y bricks,

Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Princes Street, Gravesend, on or after 29th April 2022 for up to 1 night between 19.00hrs and 01.00hrs or until the works have been completed. The One-Way will be

suspended to allow access.

The road will be closed between Church Street and New Road.
