In order to install fibre broadband, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of A227 Tonbridge Road, Ightham, on or after 11th

April 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between Meadlands and Prestons Farmhouse, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via

BARDEN ROAD, TONBRIDGE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow maintenanc­e works to be carried out on apparatus, Kent County Council intends to make an

Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Barden Road, Tonbridge, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Norfolk Road and Preston Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternativ­e route for this closure. However, residentia­l access will be maintained at all times, when

it is safe to do so.

BOURNE ROAD, TONBRIDGE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Bourne Lane, Tonbridge, on or after 13th April 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with A26 Hadlow Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternativ­e route for this closure. However, residentia­l access will be maintained at all times, when

BRACKEN WALK, TONBRIDGE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Bracken Walk, Tonbridge, on or after 27th April 2022 for up to 3 days between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 14, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Greenfrith Drive, Beechmont Rise, Bishops Oak Ride, Bracken Walk and vice versa.

COMMON ROAD, IGHTHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow overhead structure works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Common Road, Ightham, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Copt Hall Road and Sandy Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g

through traffic on part of Comp Lane, Offham, on or after 26th April 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Teston Road and Bramble Hill Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow water connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Forge Lane, West Peckham, on or after 28th April 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Stan Lane, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternativ­e route is via Mereworth Road, B2016 Seven Mile Lane, A26 Tonbridge Road, Maidstone Road, Common Road, Matthews Lane, Forge Lane and vice

GRAVESEND ROAD, WROTHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022

To allow pole testing works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through

traffic on part of Gravesend Road, Wrotham, on or after 14th April 2022 at 19:00, with estimated completion by 15th April 2022 at 05:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between the junctions with Vigo Hill and A20 London Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

Because of carriagewa­y resurfacin­g and associated preparatio­n, finishing and accommodat­ion works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on Various Roads, Tunbridge Wells, as per the schedule below.

This Order takes effect on or after 8 April 2022 for a period of up to 18 months or until the works have been completed. Planned dates will be published in advance of the works and indicated by signage displayed on site 14 days before they start. This programme is subject to weather and other factors and may therefore change; every effort will be made to keep as close as possible to the programmed dates and duration.
