ASHFORD AREA A28 CANTERBURY ROAD, KENNINGTON. (SUSPENSION OF BUS LANE & CYCLE LANE) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow Openreach works to be carried out,
Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily suspend the bus lane and cycle lane on part of A28 Canterbury Road, Kennington, outside number 105.
The suspensions are planned between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours from 9th May 2022, with estimated completion by 10th May 2022.
BLACKWALL ROAD, WYE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of overhead cabling and arboricultural works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Blackwall Road, Wye, on or after 9th May 2022 for up to 5 days, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Goodcheap Lane and Blackwall Road South.
The alternative route is via Blackwall Road, A2070 Kennington Road, The Street, Hinxhill Road (BrookWye), Naccolt Road, Road From Naccolt Road To Blackwall Road, Blackwall Road and Vice Versa.
BROMLEY GREEN ROAD, RUCKINGE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of utility repair and maintenance works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Bromley Green Road, Ruckinge, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Avoca, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Hamstreet Road, Capel Road, Bromley Green Road and vice versa.
CHURCH LANE, SHADOXHURST. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Church Lane, Shadoxhurst, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route is via Woodchurch Road, Hornash
Lane, Hamstreet Road, Birchett Lane and vice versa.
CHURCH ROAD, KENNINGTON. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of utility repairs and maintenance work,
Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Church Road, Kennington, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between Studio Close and A2042 Faversham Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

CRIPPLE HILL, HIGH HALDEN. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of highway improvement works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on Cripple Hill, High Halden, on or after 9th May 2022 for up to 5 days, between 07:00 hours and 18:00 hours or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route is via Cripple Hill, A28 Ashford Road, Hookstead, Shawlands Lane and vice versa.
GREEN HILL LANE, EGERTON. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of new utility connection works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Green Hill Lane, Egerton, on or after 9th May 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed in the vicinity of Dering Farm, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Green Hill Lane, New Road, Rock Hill Road, Mundy Bois Road and vice versa.
TUESNOAD LANE, BETHERSDEN. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of utility pole replacement works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Tuesnoad Lane, Bethersden, on or after 29th April 2022 for up to 1 day, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed between Wissenden Lane and
Wissenden Green, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via Tuesnoad Lane, Wissenden Green, Wissenden Lane and vice versa.

The Kent County Council, acting as the Local Traffic Authority, in exercise of its powers and under Sections 1(1), 2(1) to (3), 3(2), 4(1) and (2), 32(1), 35(1), 44,
45, 46, 49 and 53 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (‘the Act’) and of all other enabling powers, and after consultation with the chief officer of police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the Act hereby make the following Order:The effect of the made Order will be to introduce or
amend existing waiting restrictions (DYL means double yellow lines “no waiting at any time” restrictions) in the following length of roads:

– On the north west side extend the existing lines from 39 metres to a point 9 metres south west of its junction with Wesley School Road. WESLEY SCHOOL ROAD – DYL – (1) On the north east side from its junction with Cuckoo Lane for a distance of 21 metres in a north westerly direction. (2) On the south west side from its junction with Cuckoo Lane for a distance of 51 metres in a north westerly direction to join up with the existing school keep clear markings. The Order was made on 21 April 2022 and its provisions will come into effect on 25 April 2022.

To allow ducting repair works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of B2205 Sea Street, Herne Bay, on or after 24th April 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 16:00, or until the works have been completed.

ALBION LANE AND RIDGEWAY ROAD, HERNE (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022
To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County
Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Albion Lane and Ridgeway Road, Herne, on or after 9th May 2022 for up to 2 days, between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The roads will be closed as detailed below:
Albion Lane will be closed at its junction with Ridgeway Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
Ridgeway Road will be closed outside of number 54, for a distance approximately 100 metres in an Easterly direction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via Ridgeway Road, Busheyfields Road, A291 Canterbury Road, A291 Herne Street, Albion Lane, Forgefields, and vice versa.
A local diversion will be in place for residents East of Albion Lane.
BUTCHERY LANE, CANTERBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER MAY 2022
To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County
Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Butchery Lane, Canterbury, on or after 10th May 2022 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Chestfield Road, Chestfield, on or after 11th May 2022 for up to 1 night, between 23:00 hours and 04:00 hours, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between the junctions of A2990 Thanet Way and B2205 St Johns Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route for any through traffic is via

MILTON CLOSE, CANTERBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Milton Close, Canterbury, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed at the junction with Barton Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
There is no alternative route for this closure, due to the
road being a dead-end.
STATION ROAD WEST, CANTERBURY (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER APRIL 2022
To allow cover replacement works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic travelling southbound on Station Road
West, Canterbury, on or after 23rd April 2022 for up to 2 nights between the hours of 19:00 and 06:00, or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed (southbound only) in the general vicinity of Barton Mill Court, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.
The alternative route is via North Lane, St Dunstans Street and Station Road West.
WHITSTABLE 10K (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
To allow the Whitstable 10K running event to be held, Kent County Council intends to make an Order
prohibiting through traffic on parts of Beach Walk, Tower Hill and Marine Parade, Whitstable from 2nd May 2022 at 08:00, with estimated completion by 2nd May 2022 at 12:30.
Beach Walk will be closed for its entire length, between 08:00 hours and approximately 12:30 hours.
Tower Hill will be closed for its entire length, between 09:45 hours and approximately 12:00 hours.
Marine Parade will be closed from its junction with Tower Hill to the junction with Graystone Road, between 09:45 hours and approximately 10:40.
The following roads will be closed at their junctions with Marine Parade, with access to each of them remaining from the Tankerton Road direction:
• Park Avenue
• Cliff Road
• St Annes Road
• Graystone Road
All roads will be re-opened as soon as it is safe to do so. The alternative route for any through traffic is via Tankerton Road.
CANTERBURY & DOVER AREAS GROVE ROAD, PRESTON & WICKHAMBREAUX. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of drainage works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibiting through traffic on Grove Road, Preston and Wickhambreaux, on or after 25th April 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed for the entire length.
The alternative route is via Stourmouth Road, Preston Road, The Street, Plucks Gutter, Gore Street, A253 Ramsgate Road/Canterbury Road, A28 Island Road, Grove Ferry Hill, Grove Ferry Road, Grove Road and vice versa.
DARTFORD AREA BROAD LANE, WILMINGTON. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of UKPN works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Broad Lane, Wilmington, on or after 26th April 2022 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed outside number 56.
The alternative route is via Broad Lane, Common Lane, Oakfield Lane, Leyton Cross Road, Hook Green Lane and vice versa.
KEARY ROAD, SWANSCOMBE. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of carriageway resurfacing works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporarily prohibit through traffic on part of Keary Road, Swanscombe, on or after 30th April 2022 for up to 16 days or until the works have been completed.
The road will be closed between numbers 71 and 93. The alternative route is via Keary Road, Swanscombe Street, Betsham Road and vice versa or Munford Drive (one-way) and Keary Road.
DOVER AREA ALKHAM ROAD, TEMPLE EWELL & LONDON ROAD, RIVER. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of carriageway resurfacing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Alkham Road, Temple Ewell and London Road, River, on or after 10th May 2022 for up to 3 nights, between 19:30 hours and 05:00 hours or until the works have been completed.
Alkham Road will be closed between London Road and Kearsney Railway Station.
London Road will be closed between A256 Whitfield Hill and Egerton Road.
The alternative route for Alkham Road is via Lower Road, High Street, London Road and vice versa.
The alternative route for London Road is via A256
Whitfield Hill, A2 Dover Road, Lydden Hill, Canterbury Road, London Road and vice versa. Traffic wishing to access Alkham Road will need to follow the diversion
and then High Street and Lower Road.
CANNON STREET & UNION ROAD, DEAL. (PROHIBITION OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022
Because of drainage repair works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibiting through traffic on part of Cannon Street & Union Road, Deal. Union Road will be closed on or after 9th May 2022, for up to 2 days and Cannon Street will be closed on or after 10th May 2022, for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.
Union Road will be closed between numbers 61 and 63. Cannon Street will be closed between number 27 and
