Because of Thames Water works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Brasted, on or

after 28th July 2022 for up to 2 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to Bridge Cottage. The alternativ­e route is via Church Road, Coles Lane, Rectory Lane, A25 High Street and vice versa.

CHURCH ROAD, STONE STREET & CROWN LANE, SEAL (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Openreach works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Church Road, Stone Street &

Crown Lane, Seal, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 2 days between 09.30hrs and 15.30hrs or until the works have been completed.

Church Road will be closed between A25 Maidstone Road and Avenue Cottage and Crown Lane at the junction with A25 Maidstone Road.

The alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via Church Road, Stone Street, Stone Street Road, Coach Road, A25 Sevenoaks Road/Maidstone Road and vice

versa.

FAWKHAM ROAD, FAWKHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

To allow utility works to be carried out Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Fawkham Road, Fawkham, on or after 13th July 2022 for up to 1 day between 09:30 hours and 15:30 hours, or until the works have been completed. The road will be closed outside Salts Farm Depot, for a distance approximat­ely 235 metres in a Southerly direction, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Fawkham Road, B2060 Main Road, Hartley Road, Ash Road, Chapel Wood Road,

Ash Road, The Street, South Ash Road, Ash Lane, A20 London Road, Fawkham Road, Brands Hatch Road,

intends to make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Highlands Hill, Swanley, on or

after 25th July 2022 for up to 21 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with B258 Main Road.

Because of SGN works, Kent County Council intends to

make an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Homedean Road, Chipstead & Westerham Road, Bessels, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 38 days or until the works have been completed. Homedean Road will be closed between Westerham Road and the War Memorial and Westerham Road between Homedean Road and A25 Westerham Road. The alternativ­e route for eastbound traffic is via

The road will be closed between the junctions with Park Road and Central Avenue, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Park Road, Albany Road, Avenue Of Remembranc­e, Central Avenue and High Street.

HIGH STREET & CROWN ROAD (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING & SUSPENSION OF ONE-WAY ORDER) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent

County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of High Street and Crown Road, Sittingbou­rne, on or after 26th July 2022 for up to 3 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The roads will be closed to the extents detailed below, with only one road closed at a time.

High Street, Sittingbou­rne will be closed from the junction with Crown Road to outside number 40, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The one-way traffic Order on High Street will be temporaril­y suspended, to allow for essential access for residents and businesses.

The alternativ­e route is via Crown Road and B2006 St Paul’s Street.

Crown Road will be closed between the junctions with Beechwood Avenue and High Street, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for northbound traffic is via B2006 St Paul’s Street, B2005 Mill Way, Saffron Way, North Street and High Street..
