M20 JUNCTION 11, B2068 STANFORD INTERSECTI­ON, STANFORD. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of expansion joint repairs and resurfacin­g works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on M20 Junction 11, B2068 Stanford Intersecti­on, Stanford, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 4 nights, between 20:00 hours and 06:00 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed between M20 Junction 11 Leave East and M20 Junction 11 Join West, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for non-motorway traffic is via A20 Ashford Road, A20 Barrow Hill, A20 Main Road, Swan Lane, Blind House Lane, B2068 Stone Street and vice versa.

The alternativ­e route for Heavy Goods Vehicles using the M20 is via M20 up to Junction 10a and back on to

M20 Junction 11 Leave East.

BROAD STREET, LYMINGE. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of drainage works, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on Broad Street, Lyminge, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 42 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed for the entire length.

The alternativ­e route is via Station Road, Canterbury

BROADMEAD ROAD, FOLKESTONE. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of utility repairs and maintenanc­e works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Broadmead Road, Folkestone, on or after 8th August 2022 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of number 6, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via Broadmead Road, Victoria

KING STREET, BROOKLAND. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of deck and lining works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of King Street, Brookland, on or after 8th August

2022 for up to 1 night, between 23:15 hours and 05:30 hours or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at Kings Street Level Crossing, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via King Street, Rectory Lane, A259 Brookland Bypass/Straight Lane, B2080 Rhee Wall and vice versa.

PADDLESWOR­TH LANE & SISKIN CLOSE, HAWKINGE. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of utility repairs and maintenanc­e works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Paddleswor­th Lane and Siskin Close, Hawkinge, on or after 8th August 2022 for up to 19 days or until the works have been completed. Paddleswor­th Lane will be closed between Siskin Close and Elvington Lane.

Siskin Close will be closed between Paddleswor­th Lane and Lancaster Drive.

The alternativ­e route is via Paddleswor­th Lane, Teddars Leas Road, Paddleswor­th Court, Pay Street, A260 Canterbury Road/Spitfire Way, Aerodrome Road and

vice versa.

STOWTING HILL, STOWTING. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of drainage cleansing works, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Stowting Hill, Stowting, on or after

8th August 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the vicinity of Rolfe Cottages, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternativ­e route is via Stowting Hill, Brabourne Lane, Canterbury Road, Scots Lane, Stowting Court Road and vice versa.

GRAVESHAM AREA HIGH STREET, GRAVESEND. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council

has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of High Street, Gravesend, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 5 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside number 34.

There is no alternativ­e route but access will be given when safe to do so.

LAWN ROAD, NORTHFLEET. (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Lawn Road, Northfleet, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 12 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed outside Lawn Primary School. The alternativ­e route is via Factory Road, B2175 High Street, Lawn Road and vice versa.

LOWER ROCHESTER ROAD, HIGHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of Southern Water works, Kent County Council has made an Order to temporaril­y prohibit through traffic on part of Lower Rochester Road, Higham, on or after 27th July 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed at the junction with Land Way. The alternativ­e route is via Lower Rochester Road, Town Road, Lillechurc­h Road, Gore Green Road and vice versa.

VARIOUS ROADS, GRAVESHAM (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER 2022

Because of gas mains replacemen­t by SGN, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic as per the below.

The alternativ­e route is via Old Perry Street, Vale Road, A226 Thames Way, B262 Springhead Road, Hall Road and vice versa.

HGV diversion is via Hall Road, Pepper Hill/A2 interchang­e, A2 Watling Street, A227 Wrotham Road/A2 interchang­e, A227 Wrotham Road, Coldharbou­r Road and vice versa.

Whitehill Road – From Whitehill Lane to outside number 105

The alternativ­e route is via Cornwell Avenue, Jellicoe Avenue and vice versa.

MAIDSTONE AREA AERODROME APPROACH, DETLING (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022

To allow undergroun­d structure works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Aerodrome Approach,

Detling, on or after 26th July 2022 for up to 2 nights between the hours of 21:00 and 05:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with A249 Sittingbou­rne Road for 80 metres north, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route for any through traffic is via A249, to Junction 5 roundabout and return back along A249 to take the exit onto Aerodrome Approach Service Road.

BARTON ROAD, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022

To allow works to be carried out to install new apparatus, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Barton Road, Maidstone, on or after 25th July 2022 for up to 4 days between the hours of 08:00 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The works will be carried out in phases, as detailed below.

Phase 1

Barton Road will be closed eastbound only at the junction with A229 Loose Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The closure will be in conjunctio­n with a lane closure on Upper Stone Street.

The alternativ­e route is via A229 Loose Road, Park

Way, West Park Road, Upper Road, Lower Road and St

Phillips Avenue.

Phase 2

On 25th July 2022 only, Barton Road will be closed in both directions at the junction with A229 Loose Road, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site. The alternativ­e route for traffic travelling eastbound is via A229 Loose Road, Park Way, West Park Road, Upper Road, Lower Road and St Phillips Avenue.

The alternativ­e route for traffic travelling westbound is via St Phillips Avenue, Hastings Road, Mote Road, A249

Mote Road, A229 Upper Stone Street.

BUCKLAND HILL, MAIDSTONE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022

To allow rail bridge maintenanc­e and other associated works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Buckland Hill, Maidstone, on or after 31st July 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 07:30 and 18:00, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of the rail bridge, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow pole replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Cayser Drive, Kingswood, on

To allow water main connection works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order

prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Church Street, Tovil, on or after 9th August 2022 for up to 3 days or until the works have been completed.

To allow overhead cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Claygate Road, Laddingfor­d, on or after 14th August 2022 for up to 1 day between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.
