Sutton Road, Maidstone

Sutton Road, Maidstone will be closed from 15th

August 2022, with estimated completion by 2nd September 2022.

The road will be closed at the junction with A274 Sutton Road to outside number 95, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The alternativ­e route is via A274 Sutton Road, Northumber­land Road and vice versa.

RECTORY LANE, HARRIETSHA­M (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER AUGUST 2022

To allow cabling works to be carried out, Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Rectory Lane, Harrietsha­m, on or after

9th August 2022 for up to 4 days or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed in the general vicinity of number 9, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

There is no alternativ­e route for this closure, due to the road being a dead-end. However, residentia­l access will be maintained at all times, when it is safe to do so.

SOUTH LANE, SUTTON VALENCE (PROHIBITIO­N OF DRIVING) TEMPORARY ORDER JULY 2022

To allow pole replacemen­t works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of South Lane, Sutton Valence, on or after 26th July 2022 for up to 1 day or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed adjacent to number 2 Captains Close, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow tree cutting and overhead cabling works to be carried out Kent County Council intends to make an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of Stockett Lane, Tovil, on or after 11th August 2022 for up to 2 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The road will be closed from the junction with Busbridge Lane to outside number 9, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

To allow ducting works to be carried out, Kent County Council has made an Order prohibitin­g through traffic on part of High Street and Crown Road, Sittingbou­rne, on or after 26th July 2022 for up to 3 days between the hours of 09:30 and 15:30, or until the works have been completed.

The roads will be closed to the extents detailed below, with only one road closed at a time.

High Street, Sittingbou­rne will be closed from the junction with Crown Road to outside number 40, to the extent indicated by signs and barriers on site.

The one-way traffic Order on High Street will be temporaril­y suspended, to allow for essential access for residents and businesses.

The alternativ­e route is via Crown Road and B2006 St Paul’s Street.
