Pupils set for Mini Worlds

The draw has been made for this year’s Under-11 Maidstone Mini World Cup at the Gallagher Stadium.

Thirty-six primary schools are taking part in the October 12 tournament, organised by the Stones Community Trust. A live draw took place last week. All 32 nations who have qualified for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar featured, while Ukraine, Italy, Scotland and Northern Ireland were added. The draw was made by Mike Littleboy, of the Stones Community Trust, and Maidstone chief executive Bill Williams, while the organisers would like to thank sponsors CSIS and Wellbeing People for their support, along with Europa Sports and the Kent Messenger.
