Miles Richardson scored a century and took five wickets as Kings Hill continued their Kent League Division 3 promotion charge.

Richardson made 126 and Richard Nicol 112 in a total of 341-4 against Cowdrey. Richardson followed with

5-59 in Cowdrey’s 233. Edward Scrivens hit 179 as Leeds & Broomfield posted 329-7 against Whitstable in Division 2. They won by 139 runs, Phillip Semmes taking 5-31.

The Mote won a Division 1 thriller against Old Wilsonians by nine runs. Jesse Christense­n hit 95 as The Mote closed on 283-7. Christense­n then took three wickets, securing victory with a run-out.

Tom Davey’s unbeaten 112 set up Staplehurs­t’s Division 4 success against Tonbridge. The hosts closed on 281-4 and won by 132 runs, Nathan Smith claiming 5-17.

Offham suffered a Division 5 defeat at Chislehurs­t & West Kent, losing by 230 runs. Addington Village fell short at Walmer, losing by 23 runs. James Miller took four wickets in Walmer’s 227-8. Tom Wooding was 73 not out. The Mote lost to Old Wilsonians by three wickets in Division 1 of the 2nd XI league. Jason White scored 45 in The Mote’s 194-9 but OWs won with almost five overs left. Justin Hubbard’s 126 saw Leeds & Broomfield 2nds chase down 317 for a sixwicket win over Rainham in Division 3.

Kings Hill 2nds posted 417-6 against Cobham (122) in Division 4, Chris Bryant on

100 and Atharva Pingulkar 94. Oli Henson hit 138 not out as Staplehurs­t 2nds beat Gore Court by 228 runs in Division 5.

John Olufawo’s 124 was in vain as Offham 2nds lost to The Roebucks by three wickets.
