Want to cosy up to a Christ­mas film? Some are show­ing this week­end

Who doesn’t love a Christ­mas film?

The Loveash­ford film club re­turns this week­end with a triple bill of fam­ily-friendly film screen­ings at

Reve­la­tion Ash­ford on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 1. They in­clude the sin­ga­long edi­tion of Frozen, The Snow­man and The Snow­dog and Arthur Christ­mas. Ad­mis­sion is 50p per per­son and chil­dren are en­cour­aged to get in the spirit by dress­ing up in their favourite Dis­ney out­fits.

Doors open at 12.30pm for the 1pm show­ing of Frozen and 2.30pm, with the film start­ing at 3pm for The Snow­man™ and The Snow­dog. Arthur Christ­mas will show at 3.30pm un­til 5pm.

For tick­ets go to rev­e­la­tionash­ whats-on. Un­der 16s need to be ac­com­pa­nied by an adult. There will be a pop-up bar with re­fresh­ments for sale and kids’ goody bags cost­ing £1.50.

The Gul­benkian at Can­ter­bury is also show­ing a se­ries of fes­tive films, start­ing with The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, be­ing screened on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 1 and three other dates in the month. Po­lar Ex­press will be shown on Sun­day, De­cem­ber 2. Time­less clas­sics It’s a Won­der­ful Life and The Mup­pet Christ­mas Carol will both be screened on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 8.

Com­ing later in the month will be The Night­mare Be­fore Christ­mas, Fan­tas­tic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindel­wald, The Grinch and Arthur Christ­mas.

Tick­ets range from £1 to £8.50.
