Cricket boys’ banter

-

Partners in cricket crime Aggers and Tuffers will be knocking some witty banter about and batting around colourful anecdotes when they visit the Leas Cliff Hall in Folkestone on Monday, December 3.

An Evening With Aggers and Tuffers sees former professional players and now world commentators on the game come together for an entertaining evening - even for non-lovers of cricket. Phil Tufnell, better known as Tuffers, earned himself the nickname The Cat due to his love of dressing room naps as a player and since retiring has carved himself out a successful TV career including on the BBC’S A Question of Sport.

Jonathan Agnew has been described as a master broadcaster on Test Match Special with fellow commentators Geoffrey Boycott, Graeme Swann, and David ‘Bumble’ Lloyd. Their show will raise funds for the Professional Cricketers’ Trust, supporting past and current players and their dependents during times of illness or hardship.
