The illuminated trail at Bedgebury will delight you and old alike this Christmas - but don’t think the little ones will be left wanting.

The site also has food stalls, including along the route, and some children’s rides at the beginning and end for the very little ones in your group.

You can also learn as you go along as there are signposts telling you about some of the trees in the forest and fun facts about them. The gently undulating trail is suitable for pushchairs, wheelchairs and kids’ scooters to make their way round.

But it’s not just the lights which will keep the children amused as once in the wood, there’s a chance to meet Connor Fir and Father Christmas along the way.

The after dark trail is available at Bedgebury until Sunday, December 30 and costs £17 for adults, £10.50 for children and under fives and carers free.
