1. SANTA SATURDAYS SITTINGBOURNE
It’s Santa Saturday at the Forum shopping centre in Sittingbourne High Street this weekend on Saturday, December 8. Between 11am and 4pm there will be a Christmas grotto, the chance to meet Father Christmas and festive carol singing, raising funds for the charity of the year, the Freedom Centre. There are still a few tickets left for the popular Santa Specials at the Spa Valley Railway (starting at Eridge station) this Christmas. This weekend they run on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9 and there will be traditional music, and a visit from Santa on board, plus children get a gift. You can meet Farmer Christmas and his elves at Broadditch farm at Southfleet this weekend on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9. Climb on board the tractor sleigh with the elves for a Christmas singalong and journey to the enchanted wood. Join a festive trail through the gardens of the National trust’s Scotney Castle in Lamberhurst this winter. The Noah’s Ark Children’s Trail will be on offer on Saturday, December 8 and Sunday, December 9, and is inspired by the Victorian Noah’s ark, which will also be on display in the house.
